The University of Bonn was founded almost 200 years ago and is considered to be one of Germany’s most important institutes of higher education. UBN is the home of learning to over 31,000 students and has an outstanding reputation both at home and abroad. The department for Photogrammetry at UBN is led by Prof. Dr. Cyrill Stachniss. The lab focuses on robotics and state estimation problems including the interpretation of sensor data from cameras and range sensors, especially the geometric reconstruction and the semantic interpretation of the observed scene. The lab has been participated in numerous third-party funded projects including European, national, and industry-funded projects.
